Founded on the basic democratic premise of the cooperative movement, credit unions believe that access to low-cost financial services is critical to the health and stability of ordinary citizens. In fact, nearly 80 million Americans trust their credit union to provide the services to improve their financial well being. Credit union membership offers many benefits. Services offered range from simple savings and checking to home equity loans and IRAs. Pine Federal Credit Union is an EQUAL HOUSING LENDER. Study after study has revealed that, on average, credit unions provide the best financial offerings with fewer fees, lower rates on loans and higher rates on savings. To be eligible for membership, you must be an employee or family member of an employee (i.e. mother, father, son, daughter, sister, brother or grandparent or grandchild) of one of the companies listed below. To become a Credit Union member, you must either deposit $5.00 into a savings account or begin a payroll deduction to open the account. A minimum of $5.00 must be maintained in your regular savings account to keep it open and to qualify you for any type loan or other account.

Once a member, always a member. Termination of employment does not mean loss of membership in the Credit Union.

Your savings are federally insured to at least $100,000 and backed by the full faith and credit of the United States Government through the National Credit Union Administration, a U.S. Government Agency.
